That sounds like it should be unremarkable. In practice it is the exception: at a great many clinics the consultation is with a doctor and the treatment is delegated to a technician. We do not work that way, and it is worth asking about wherever you go.
Every clinician here is fellowship-trained, holds current medical registration — which we publish in full on each profile rather than describing vaguely — and performs the treatments they recommend. Your case is discussed by the whole team every Monday, so nobody is treating you in isolation.
